How do I start a chat? The empty Chats page shows your card: a QR code and its link. The other person scans it with Scan on their Chats page, or opens the link. You can also take a public @name and share montana.quest/n/ followed by it.
How do I move to a new phone? On the first screen choose Continue with Montana, then Open identity, and enter your 24 words. Your history comes back from the copy you chose: your own iCloud, your own node, or the people you write to.
Can you restore my words? No. The 24 words are made on your phone and kept by you alone; nobody, including us, can restore them.
